Our History in Gympie:

Director of The Allied Health Team, Ryan Dreves, first offered his exercise physiology services to the Gympie community immediately after graduating uni, at the beginning of 2011. He has spent over one third of his life organising allied health services for the people of Gympie and is strongly connected to the community and tries his best to add value.

All individuals, families, and businesses in 2020 had their lives impacted by COVID-19. Whilst following the government laws, we are proud to say we were one of very few allied health businesses to remain open throughout this uncertain period. Amongst the lockdowns and restrictions we stood by our core values and kept offering our services to the community. We had to move premises three times in six months and are now grateful to have our very own clinic with private consulting rooms at 58 Channon Street, since September 2020.

It’s a fun and positive environment. Our exercise equipment of choice has been purchased from all over the world specifically to help you better. Spread over almost 300 square metres, there are 4 private consulting rooms, a stretching and group class room, an assessment room, a cardiovascular training room, and multiple strength training areas. The strength machines target each side of the body independently and use compressed air as the resistance, rather than the standard cable pulleys or weight plates. This means you are strengthening your body evenly between your left and right sides and through the full range of motion under consistent resistance, and removes the short-falls of typical machines found in gyms. They are great for your joints and we’ve found them to be very helpful for osteoarthritis, healthy ageing, and post surgical intervention.

During your treatment period you can come in and use the clinic space as much as you like, during our hours of operation. It’s a fun and vibrant atmosphere where you can choose the music, socialise with others before, during, or after your workout / appointment, and improve your health whilst having fun.

The clinic is fully accessible and our cardiovascular equipment can be used from a wheelchair.

We are very proud of what we can offer at this clinic, so much so we provide a money-back guarantee if you are dissatisfied with our services.

We offer our exercise physiology and dietetic services at our clinic, in the comfort of your home, or at the Gympie ARC if water-based therapy is preferred.

Feel free to pop in during our opening hours to check it out!
